About Us
CEPlus 2 Corporation is a non for profit organization dedicated to provider stable recovery based housing for veterans.
- The Department of Veterans Affairs estimates that 76,000 veterans sleep on the streets every night.
- Despite the fact that only 8% of the U.S. population can claim status as a veteran, veterans make up 17% of the homeless population.
- 50% of homeless veterans served in the Vietnam War while 66% of homeless veterans have served within the last three years, and 33% have served in active war zones.
- 96% of homeless veterans are single males, but the amount of female homeless veterans is rising. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development estimated that female veterans are two-to-three times as likely to become homeless than any other demographic in the U.S. population.
- Veterans between the ages of 18 and 30 are twice as likely to become homeless than the general population.
- 53% of the homeless veteran population are disabled, 50% suffer from mental illness, and 66% suffer from substance abuse.
- Although members of the general homeless population are homeless for about 4 years, veterans are homeless for an average of 6 years.
- About 70 percent of homeless vets have a substance use disorder. More than 10 percent of the homeless population in America are veterans who end up on the street due to lack of affordable housing, adequate income, and social support.
- The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration estimates that about 7 percent of U.S. veterans have a substance use disorder. Almost 20 percent of military men and women who have served in Afghanistan or Iraq suffer from PTSD, depression, or traumatic brain injury, all of which are conditions which predispose to addiction.

There are limited housing programs, the rental cost is partially covered, often these savings go to high electric bills. Our veterans cant pay , so the residence is often abandoned resulting in relapse and recidivism to jail or government programs. Due to their histories of substance abuse, evictions resulting in low credit scores, it is difficult to find housing. CEPlus2 Corporation is looking at a housing development of Conex houses, great insulation, resulting in lower electric bills, to allow the veteran to sustain housing. The studio Conex apartment would be low rent. The tiny house that includes kitchen,, shower, toilet, bedroom and fridge with attachments electric and water . These veterans would be able to receive substance abuse support in recovery right on property providing space of Alcoholics Anonymous, Rational Recovery, and SMART recovery for an appropriate recovery fit along with optional education on budgeting, understanding your credit score, and other helpful classes to assist in a seamless transition into society .

Each change in the weather just enhances the motivation to break ground on this mission. I can do it alone, Ceplus2corporation is currently working on a Business plan. The estimations currently are as follows. Quoted -20,000 per unit, estimate 6-10. These units are premade, the cost includes estimated utilities. - Lot 1-2 acres estimated cost $20,000.00 . These units are to assist occupants to develop support in addictions, and assimilations back into the community. More to come....
